Curator's notes: Synchronised is divided in thirds— the top third belongs to life above the pool’s surface, where a lady lounges while another takes a dramatic dive. Bridging the divide is one swimmer, whose head breaks the surface to take a breath. Under the water, three others are fully submerged, limbs akimbo.
